GEtting Started with COunselling
Therapy that meets you where you’re at— whether you are in the midst of mental health challenges, wanting to prepare to be in the best place possible for your postpartum experience, seeking therapy support to navigate a loss or trauma, or want to make the time and space for your wellbeing and self-care. Therapy can be a space where you can prioritize your emotional health during one of life’s most transformative times.
While my background includes specialized training in perinatal and postpartum care, I work with adults navigating many different mental health concerns and life transitions. This may include anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship stress, or times of change that feel difficult to manage alone. Therapy can be a source of healing, support, and empowerment during any stage of life.

Provides supportive care for women navigating the emotional and mental health challenges that can arise before, during, and after motherhood. This space honors the mix of joy, stress, identity shifts, and overwhelm that can come with this season, while offering tools to support emotional well-being and resilience.

PARENTS & FAMILIES
Sessions focus on providing education, resources, and a personalized plan to support the transition into postpartum. Topics may include building a support system, defining parenting roles, managing visitors, navigating relationship changes, optimizing sleep, practicing self-care, and identifying mental health concerns.
EMDR THERAPY
An evidence-based approach that helps individuals process distressing experiences such as trauma, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and grief. Offered in a client-paced, supportive way, EMDR focuses on safety, regulation, and meaningful relief, and can be integrated with talk therapy in both in-person and virtual sessions.

Every individual and family deserves support that is affirming and respectful of their unique experience. Therapy for the perinatal and postpartum periods is for everyone in any role related to the family including: non-birthing partners, dads, those navigating pregnancy or parenting unpartnered, as well as adoptive parents, blended families, and non-traditional families. LGBTQ+, non-binary and gender non-conforming individuals and parents are warmly welcomed to access therapy support through the challenges and joys of the perinatal and postpartum journey.
